Nestgrid — End User License Agreement & Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Nestgrid (the "App"), you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service, solely for your personal, non-commercial household use.

3. Subscriptions (Nestgrid+)

• Nestgrid offers a free tier and an optional auto-renewing subscription, Nestgrid+, sold via Apple In-App Purchase.
• Price and billing period are shown on the purchase screen (e.g. $8.99 per month).
• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
• Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or embedded keys except as permitted by law; (b) use the App to break any law or infringe others' rights; (c) interfere with or abuse our processing services or rate limits; (d) upload content you have no right to process.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you put into Nestgrid. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to operate the App's features you enable (e.g. transmitting a capture to a processing service when you turn on AI extraction). See the Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party services & data

The App can use third-party services (Apple, Anthropic, Google, Open Food Facts, Cloudflare) when you enable the relevant features. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms. Product data is provided by Open Food Facts under the Open Database License (ODbL).

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Nestgrid helps organize household information but is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, or financial advice, and may produce inaccurate extractions. You are responsible for verifying important information.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HANS JERRY U P WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this Agreement. You may stop using the App at any time and delete your data from within the App.

10. Changes

We may update this Agreement; material changes will be reflected by the effective date and, where appropriate, surfaced in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. Apple-required terms (minimum, when not using Apple's standard LWA)

• This Agreement is between you and hans jerry U P only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Your license is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, per the App Store Terms.
• Maintenance and support are our responsibility, not Apple's.
• To the extent permitted, any warranty is our responsibility; if the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any), and Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Product claims (liability, legal/regulatory, consumer protection) are our responsibility, not Apple's.
• Intellectual-property claims regarding the App are our responsibility, not Apple's.
• You represent you are not in a U.S.-embargoed country or on a U.S. prohibited-parties list.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you.

12. Governing law

The laws of Sweden, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
