Privacy Policy

What the app stores, and where
Everything below stays on your device.
- Your provider’s password — in the system Keychain.
- Your provider’s server address and username — in the app’s own local settings.
- Favourites, recently watched, resume positions and pinned programmes — local settings.
- A cached copy of your provider’s channel and title list — a file inside the app, so the app opens quickly and does not re-download a large catalogue every time.
Signing out removes your password from the Keychain. Deleting the app removes everything else.
Who your data is sent to
Only the IPTV provider whose address you typed in. The app talks to that server and to nothing else. Your username and password are sent to it in order to sign in and to play streams, exactly as they would be in any other client for that service. We have no relationship with your provider and no visibility into it — their handling of your data is governed by their own policy.
Artwork such as channel logos and film posters is loaded from whatever web addresses your provider supplies. Those requests go directly from your device to those addresses.
Calendar
If you pin a programme and choose “Add to Calendar”, the app asks for write-only calendar permission and adds that one event. It cannot read your existing events. Declining the permission only means pinned programmes stay inside the app.
Tracking
None. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no third-party trackers, and does not use the Advertising Identifier. It does not track you across other apps or websites.
Children
ProperIpTv plays whatever your provider serves and applies no content filtering of its own, which is why it is rated 17+. It is not directed at children.
